Mouse Jack

Once upon a time there was a boy named Jack. He never obeyed his parents, did not help them around the house and was a disappointment to them. One day, while the boy's mother and father were working on the farm, Jack went for a walk. The guy walked for a long time in an unknown direction when he finally wandered into the depths of a dark forest. There he saw a small house and decided to enter.
"Who are you?" asked Jack.

"I'm a wizard. I make sure that people get what they deserve and realize their behavior," said the figure in the dark, "and I know you've been behaving badly."

"What do you mean?" the boy cried, "I didn't do anything wrong!"

Then the magician waved his wand and turned the boy into a mouse.

"What have you done?!" squeaked Jack, "Why?! How am I supposed to live now?"

"That's your problem." the wizard replied.

"Turn me back into a human! Now!" the boy shouted.

"I will cancel the spell only when you realize everything and change your attitude. It all depends on you. Goodbye!" said the wizard and disappeared with the house.
Jack, in the guise of a mouse, was left alone in the middle of a dark, dark forest. The boy's adventure began.

Jack moved forward. So, he walked, and walked, and walked, when suddenly he heard the rustle of leaves. A fox came out from behind the bushes.

"Hello, little mouse! What are you doing here?" the sly fox asked.

"I'm not a mouse! I am a human!" the boy replied, "My name is Jack."

"Yeah, of course!" the fox laughed.

"But it's true!" the mouse mumbled and sang:

"The evil wizard came,

Said it was my blame.

Now, turned into a mouse.

I'm looking for my house."

"Anyway, are you lost?" she asked, "I can take you to the exit of this terrible forest."

"Really? I would be very grateful to you!" the boy was delighted.

"Oh, I know," the fox smiled broadly, "follow me!"

It seemed to Jack that they had been walking for ages. However, when the fox finally stopped, there was no exit nearby.

"Get in!" she said, pointing at the burrow.

"It doesn't look like coming out of the woods…" the mouse replied, "Are you sure?"

"Yes! Come on, hurry up! I can't wait…" and then the fox fell silent.

"What can't you wait for?" the boy asked.

Then the fox, who strongly wanted to eat the mouse, got angry. She started pushing her inside when a kind bear suddenly appeared and saved Jack.

"Now get out of here before I change my mind!" the bear shouted at the fox, and she immediately disappeared.

"Thank you very much! She almost ate me!" the boy said with relief.

"You're welcome! You need to be on your guard in this forest." the bear replied, "Let me take you to the real exit."

After a while, they finally got out of this frightening forest. There was an old village not so far from it. Jack and his new friend entered one of the houses and saw a rooster standing next to a treasure chest.

"What are you doing?" the bear asked.

"Nothing! I just got lost…" the rooster was worried.

"Don't lie! You want to steal the treasure!" the bear shouted, "That's not fair!"

"If you help me, I will share it with you. Come on! Please!" the rooster cried.

"I said no!" the bear replied.

"I agree!" Jack smiled, "We'll help you for half the gold."

"What?! How?! I'm not taking part in this!" the bear got angry, "If you want, steal, but I won't help."

"Please! We can't do it without you!" Jack begged him, "Just imagine what kind of life waits us later: wealth, beauty, everything you want!"

"Well… I don't know…" he replied warily.

"Yeah! I'll give you half of the treasure," the rooster convinced him, "it's enough for the rest of your life! You won't need anything!"
